Jite Embarks On Special Environmental Cleanup Exercise in Orhuwhorun, Urges Udu Communities to Prioritize Cleanliness”

The Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Council, Hon. Chief Jite Brown JP, has urged all Udu residents to maintain cleanliness in their surroundings. The Udu Council Boss who was represented by the Supervisory Councillor for Health, Hon. Voke Bukuta made this call recently during a special Environmental Sanitation exercise in Orhuwhorun, Udu Local Government area of Delta State. The Udu Council Boss emphasized the importance of cleanliness, stating that it is next to godliness. The exercise which lasted for several hours, involved the removal of illegal structures near Orhuwhorun High School and Orhuwhorun Primary School, as well as clearing the Orhuwhorun railway. The operation also addressed blocked drainage and cleared heaps of refuse. Orhuwhorun residents commended the Udu Council Boss for embarking on this special exercise.
